Hardik Pandya No.1 T20 All-rounder and Tilak Verma Jumps To No 3 in ICC Rank

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has become the world’s number-1 all-rounder in the latest T20 ICC rankings. He has left England’s Liam Livingstone behind. Meanwhile, Tilak Verma, who scored two consecutive centuries in the T20 series against South Africa, has jumped 69 places in the batting rankings. Now he has reached the third position.

Off-spinner Varun Chakravarthy has gained 36 places and opener Sanju Samson has gained 17 places. Varun has reached 28th place in the bowling rankings and Sanju has reached 22nd place in the batsman rankings. Three Indians—Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Yashasvi Jaiswal—are ranked among the top ten T20 batsmen.  Whereas in the bowling rankings, there are two Indians in the top-10 – Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi.

He left behind Dipendra Singh Airee of Nepal and Liam Livingstone of England. Hardik Pandya has risen to the top of the all-rounder rankings for the second time. Following this year’s T20 World Cup, he became the first player to hold the top spot.

Tilak Varma jumps 69 place in quick time

Tilak scored back to back centuries in the 4 match T20 series against South Africa. He scored a total of 280 runs in the series. He is the most successful batsman from India in the current batting rankings. With a career best rating of 806, Tilak has reached the third position. At the same time, captain Suryakumar Yadav has lost one position and now he has slipped to the fourth position.
